Vinsanto del Chianti Classico DOC 2017

A wine from dried grapes is always a concentration of sensations, a profusion of aromas (candied orange, apricot and peach, wax, raw honey, tobacco, aromatic herbs) introduces a sweet and enveloping but balanced and classic flavor, steeped in salinity to the epilogue.

Sweet preparations are its strong point (various biscuits, pies, cheesecake, chocolate or cream desserts), but it also enters into exciting resonance with large blue cheeses, liver croutons, rabbit terrine or chestnut cake.

Vinsanto is obtained from grapes grown in the heart of Chianti at about 600 meters above sea level, whose sweet must ferments and matures for a long time in small barrels. It becomes an expression of particular beauty and brightness, not of those played on youth and exuberance, but rather on romantic and crepuscular references. A wine to contemplate our soul.
